This coastline of South Africa is a famous hot spot for marine biodiversity, boasting numerous sharks, cetaceans, seals and endemic fish species, with a variety of ecosystems such as kelp forests, natural reef systems and artificial habitats in the form of shipwrecks.
Two major ocean currents, the cold Benguela current which travels down the West coast and the warm Agulhas or Mozambique current from the East coast converge off the coast creating the ideal conditions for the marine mega fauna in the region.
Being located on the Cape Peninsula, we are perfectly positioned for easy access to both the Atlantic and False Bay dive sites which offer a fantastic variety of habitats and species to observe, experience and promote their conservation.
